The Sandwich Notch is a hidden gem in Sandwich that features hiking trails, ample rock climbing/bouldering opportunities, and features a waterfall - Beede falls, with plenty of area to swim. Dogs are allows to use the area.
Driving out of Sunapee NH towards route 89 and gorges mills, turn right onto Georges Mills Rd. The rock will be right there on your right, just pull off and park along the side of the road.
Along the trail and just below the summit are a good number of boulders. They range in size from small sit starts to 30ft mega blocks. A few routes look to have been established but most are untouched. Use trail off Rt-3. Best climbing ~1.5 miles up
Park at the Ellis R Hatch(the same area as Rand Mountain) area on Kings Highway in New Durham and head up the road. The Fin boulder is located on the right side of the road on the way up to the swamp boulders about 100 yards from the parking area.
Drive up Highway 49 toward Waterville. Shortly after the historic Sandwich Notch Road veers off to the right, you'll see the fairly large parking area for the Smarts Brook Trail on the right side of the road. Park there. All climbing is off trail
