SU2C 2020!

Feb 1, 2020

8:30 AM — 6:00 PM

NH1 Motorplex

Since the groundbreaking and opening of the NH1 Motorplex, we have done league races, corporate events, birthday parties, team building activities and more. But, on February 1st, 2020, the first charity event in our history will be taking place. On February 1st, 2020, the First Annual Stand Up to Cancer 100 will be happening presented by one of NH1 Motorplex’s league racers, Jeremy Decourcy. Jeremy came to us about this idea in the end of September about this event and from the first moments of listening to how this event will playout we were 100% on board with it. As many of you all know, Jeremy is a well-decorated racecar driver in the northeast with many wins to his credit through his 14 years of driving experience. Jeremy came to us with the idea for this event from losing his mother in March of 2015 and knows how each and every one of us knows someone battling cancer or someone who unfortunately lost their battle with such a terrible disease. Proceeds for this event on the 1st of February will be going to Stand Up to Cancer. Both Junior and Adult races will be happening that day, 72 Adult drivers will be able to sign up for this event and, 22 Junior drivers will be able to sign up as well. The registration fee for the Adults until January 20th, 2020 will be $45 and for the Juniors, it will be $35. After January 20th, 2020, the registration for both the Juniors and Adults will be raised $10. The day of registration will be $55 for Juniors and $65 for Adults. As a little added incentive to go out and raise money for this wonderful cause, on the day of the event, the 10 highest fundraisers for the event will have a free 10 lap practice before any events start. We have entry forms on the front counter for all who are going to participate in the event. Make sure you fill them out and turn them in before space runs out! If you are unable to make it down before the event, make sure to add Jeremy Decourcy on Facebook as he will send you a copy of the entry form and mail it in to us at NH1 Motorplex, 270 Lafayette Rd, Seabrook, NH, 03874. For all questions about how to be a part of this wonderful event, add Jeremy Decourcy on Facebook and he will forward all of the details to you. We hope to see you all on February the 1st, 2020, for this first annual event, and as always, Live Free and Go Kart! SU2C 100 Adult Event information: -Ages 14+, 72 drivers can be entered - 3 divisions will make up the Adult portion of the day with lights, mediums, and Heavies. Each driver the day of the event will be weighed in to see which of the three weight classes they will be in. -If all 72 spots are claimed for, 24 drivers will be in each of the three weight classes. If less than 72, we will be spilt up as evenly as we can. -4 heat races per weight class, with 6 drivers in each heat race. Heat races will be 8 laps each, the top 2 from each heat race will make it into their weight class’s 16 lap feature. -The remaining 16 drivers from the heat races will move on to one of the two “B Mains”. The B Mains will also be 8 laps as well. The winner from each “B Main” will move on to their feature event. -The feature event line up will be determined by the fastest lap time turned in their heat race. This does not include the two drivers that made the feature from the B Mains, they will start 9th and 10th. The driver with the fastest overall time in their weight division will then pull an invert to set the starting grid for the feature. SU2C 100 Junior Event Information: -Ages 7(or 48”) – 14, 22 drivers can be entered -Each driver when they check-in when they get here in the morning will draw a chip 1-22 to decide which of the three heat races, they will be in. - The drivers who finish first and second in their heat races will move on to their feature event. There will be no invert for the Junior Feature, the winner in the first heat race will start on the pole for the feature. - The remaining drivers will go to one of the two “B Mains”.
