Despite the difficulties to get there, Foss mountain is the best kid-friendly hike we have ever had. A lot of blueberries to be picked at the top, but not to be taken down with you.

Quick easy family friendly hike with absolutely incredible views! The hike itself is about 20 minutes for 360 degree mountain views. Easy to traverse. The ride to get there however is sketchy, very narrow dirt roads. Drive with care. If looking to make this a winter hike, note that the winter parking lot is quite a bit down from the trail head.

One of my favorite hikes. Kid friendly, short and the view is phenomenal. A 360 of the surrounding mountains. If you go at the beginning of June when the blueberries are ripe, you can pick the ones at the top of the mountain

Fabulous views, worth every step. We could see Mt. Washington beautifully covered in snow.
