The Grand View Motel has graced the oceanfront of Hampton Beach for over 60 years and has been the vacation spot of many.  Abutting the main drag of Ocean Boulevard, we are in a convenient location, offering a quick walk to the boulevard, Casino Ballroom, shops and restaurants, yet outside of the noise and commotion of fun, providing quiet nights. Nearby you can fish, off-shore or deep sea, whale watch, surf, go on a paddle board tour, para-sail or just relax on the beach across the street.  Rated as one of the cleanest beaches in the country, “the rocks”, a favorite of children and adults alike, are great for wading and tide-pooling and are right across the street.  And every Wednesday night in the summer, Hampton Beach offers fireworks that may be watched from our front porch.

The Grand View Motel is one of the original motels of Hampton Beach’s yesteryear, has maintained its vintage charm offering clean, no frill, standard queen and double bed accommodations, full kitchen units and two suites, one of which has a jacuzzi.  Book a night or extended stay, we would love to have you.

I was very pleased with this property. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They personally walk out to parking lot to assist with parking. At first I was skeptical based on reviews...but honestly, my unit was very clean...even the shower walls. Yes, the furniture is dated, old even, but.... Location, location, location. Free parking and the beach is literally across the street. Would definitely stay here again and are planning our next visit.

The parking is a little tight but there is a spot for all rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable with good accommodations. Very friendly place with great views and access to the beach is right across the road that is also very pedestrian friendly.

We had an extremely small room but who stays in their rooms? Floors a bit unlevel but as I said.... The location is good and staff very helpful and kind. I would stay again.

In pictures this place looks a lot better than it actually is. as we got to the hotel the rooms were extremely small, no locks on any doors including the BATHROOM, the AC is barely functional, this motel has little to no room amenities. The fridge is extremely small which is inconvenient, our first night there we had bugs on our pillows, the bed frame was broken… had to fix it ourselves. parking is so tight and small, neighbors were being discriminatory towards us just because we spoke another language other than english, and were blasting music in the middle of the night. I personally will never come to a place like this again

It has taken me five months to write this review because I wanted to make sure I was writing a review based on fairness and not emotions. We stayed at this motel in 2020 and we enjoyed our stay. The room was kept clean, there were adequate supplies in the kitchenette and the front porch was a great place to relax and look at the ocean. I wouldn't say the bed was comfortable but it was adequate. It was a typical "beach" motel and we made reservations for the following year for two weeks. I was told they would need a 50% deposit to guarantee the room which I didn't have a problem with. Literally three days before we were going to fly out for the start of our vacation in August my husband was diagnosed with cancer. I immediately called the hotel and informed them and said we would not be there and to rent the room to someone else. We believed we thought we would be able to fly out in October or the following summer. Unfortunately my husband passed away in September. I called the Motel numerous times and spoke to the owner's daughter who was very understanding but said she would need to talk to her father regarding the deposit. Finally the owner called me and reluctantly told me he would refund 1/3 of my deposit which is the first time ever he has done that. He did say that I better cash the check as soon as I received it. No sympathy that my husband passed away so suddenly. No condolences. Nothing! We had made other reservations as we were going to MA to visit family and friends and when I informed the other places, there were no questions asked. They immediately refunded our money and offered their condolences. So would I recommend the Grandview? Absolutely not. The level of his lack of compassion was beyond words. I would not give my money to anyone who places money above someone's life. Beware of who you are dealing with.
