The facilities were great the scenery was peaceful and calm and the campers were respectful and courteous. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful and the office store had pretty much all the bare necessities needed to enjoy a wonderful weekend in the woods and then some. The ATV trails are right on the main road and are easily accessible from the campground. Would definitely come back again next time with more friends and family to enjoy all of the great things to do around the area.

Beautiful place, but very few sites with electric, and no 30 Amp service for medium to larger trailers or RVs. The outlets were 120v household 20 Amp plugs that wouldn't hold the plug in and was constantly tripping with just an ac running. The park itself is clean and scenic. Staff is nice and there is a boat ramp. It lacks a beach to swim if that's your thing, but if you don't mind walking on rocks to get into the deeper water it's fine. Nice place to get away.

Beautiful lake Francis. Not a crowded area. Boating, fishing, kayaking in one place. Saw a few bald eagles and osprey. Very clean and quiet area.

Great place to camp, large sites. Only wish they had a little beach for getting into the water. The only access to swimming was at the boat launch.

My family has been going here for over 60 years...5 generations of us to be exact. The campground has stayed the same for as long as I can remember, except for the fact they have added in nice bathrooms and incredible showers. Nothing will ever beat the sound of loons waking us up in the morning. It is, hands down, my most favorite place on earth
