Latham House Tavern opened in July 2016 and is located inside the Dowds’ Country Inn. Since then, the Latham House Tavern has been serving Hearty American Fare & Worldly Comfort Foods at affordable prices, sourcing much of its product from local farms, or cultivating fruits, vegetables & herbs in its own gardens. Along with its plentiful menu, the Latham House Tavern serves 18 draft beers through English Beer Engines – a modern throwback to the days of cask beer.

We "discovered" this little Gem on a Jeep ride Early this summer and what a treat it is. The drinks are good, the atmosphere is dated but not rundown/shoddy. I like that kind of thing. The Coconut Shrimp appetizer was on point and had a nice tangy dipping sauce. We had sandwiches the first time and all were amazing. The second trip was last weekend and we were there a little later so we had dinner. The prime Rib was well cooked and served over the top of Mash Potatoes and also greens. We again had the Coconut shrimp app and again it was great. Drinks were good and they were also training a new staff member. Engaging and funny- great food and simply great all around. We wanted to do the outdoor patio space (which is super cool) but it was borderline too cold for how we were dressed. Definately a sweet little gem!

Food was amazing! They even had options for our groups various dietary restrictions. The gluten free burger bun was the best I'd ever tasted. Their mac & cheese was a hit with our 4 year old.

Great little random dinner spot. No signal. Unique entrees. Chill atmosphere.

Latham House Tavern is an amazing experience. The pathway up to the restaurant is very cute and perfect for pictures. The menu is made of all local foods and it’s delicious. There are also a good amount of choices on the menu, even some options you won’t find at many other restaurants (including a bacon wrapped meatloaf!). They have all local brews on top and have local spirits as well. The wait staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable making for an overall great experience.
