I have always thought Blue Job had the most fantastic view for such a short hike, but this mountain by far is a gem....a must climb. Easy enough for small kiddos and great for dogs. No water at the summit, so be sure to bring some. Blueberries are everywhere, so bring a container when in season. Climb and thendrive back down to stop downtown in Alton Bay at Stillwaters for Richardson's ice cream or Pops for some clams. Sit by the water to watch the boats or take a dip. Great way to spend a day with the family.

Great hike, easy to follow trail. Gorgeous view from the top and plenty of space to sit and take in the view!

It's not a very high mountain but it has awesome views of Lake Winnipesaukee from the Alton Bay end of the Belknap Range mountains. I've hiked it on foot and I've snowshoed to the top also. It is a very nice area for snowshoeing with a view to boot!

Nice "stroll through the woods" as someone in our party called it. There is some elevation and some members of our team had some difficulty climbing, but it is easier than most "hikes" I've done. Great view from the top!

This hike is moderately easy with an excellent view. I wouldn't recommend this trail on a super hot day because there is a fair amount of open area's throughout the hike (field-like spaces) leaving you exposed to the sun as opposed to being protected by the trees the entire time. If you have ever hiked Blue Job in Farmington NH this mountain is fairly similar but with a better view and no fire tower.
