We have visited pipe dream a couple times in the past, but visited for the first time in a while this afternoon. The environment and theme hasn’t changed and that’s one thing we love about it. Staff is amazing, drinks are awesome with a huge variety of both options on tap, and cans to bring home. Great food menu and great music. Love this place and love their beer options you can find in local stores.
This is probably one of the most unique in interesting breweries I’ve ever been to. They have multiple bar areas (service varies) and seating locations throughout the building.
There was live music Saturday night in the smaller bar area. A local donut shop was also there selling gourmet donuts. The beer selection is vast (25+ beers) with a wide variety of styles. They have maybe the most interesting beer I’ve ever tried. It’s a cucumber-watermelon sour that pours clear. 🤯
The craziest part of the entire experience was the sand. They had 20 yards of sand dumped onto the floors to mimic a beach for the month of February.
The Food is great, and the Beer is even better! The live music perfectly complemented the vibe here which is down to earth, relaxed and hot as hell in that place! It wasn't really their fault that it was 90 plus degrees but they literally only have one fan in there pointed at the staff (understandably). A slight breeze would have made all the difference in the world. We were trying to escape the heat and unfortunately left because another place down the road had air con. I'm all for saving the planet, but some days all I want is a/c and that day was yesterday. Unfortunately the other ding is really not their fault, which was the bugs. I assume the place sits near a swampy or otherwise wet area and even having a professional spray for bugs did not change the fact that the waitress (bless her soul) had to walk around handing out bug spray and explaining that they had sprayed recently but it apparently wasn't working! Even the band wasn't safe and the singer had to continually swat at the bugs with a towel. I need to visit here in a more comfortable season I think because I'm sure it would have been atleast 4 stars, if not 4.5, because everything they actually have control over was amazing!
Haven't been since probably 2019, just went back tonight after looking over their menu again and seeing how much they've added both beer and food wise. Sat outside, brought the dog, had some great beer and great food. Live music on a Wednesday was a nice touch. Will be back again soon!
Absolutely fabulous experience from start to end.
Food: Awesome. Pork nachos and October's pizza special (goat cheese/fig) were both great. The bartender mentioned that the pork is smoked in-house for 18 hours--nice! The house-made pizza crust was super light and the toppings fresh and interesting. Most brewery pizza is forgettable, but this was unequivocally unforgettable.
Drinks: Large selection of fun beers including numerous sours. I had the pop rocks sour which was interesting, sweet, and a little sour. I'd come back and try another sour in the future.
Service: Fantastic. Bartender was very patient in helping my friend and I decide what to drink and eat. Proactive in offering samples, suggesting beers to try, and giving thoughts on the menu. A pleasure.
Atmosphere: Also very good. Big outdoor patio, nice indoor space that's casual yet interesting and eclectic enough to not be boring.
COVID Precautions: Outdoor seating and very well ventilated indoor seating (large doors provide a nice breeze from the outside).
Overall: My friend and I left absolutely floored with how good the experience was. Absolutely nothing to fault. Would return and make the drive from Boston without hesitation.
