6 months agoWent there last night and I the staff was lovely ,friendly & helpful BUT we really went there for the waterfall & surroundings. The different types of flowers & bushes were very pretty but like my husband said LAME. NO waterfalls or water at ALL in the ponds. Very run down & very disappointing. All the greens , holes were the same pretty much the same . We been coming to The Weir's since I was a kid and I know times are tough but seriously!

3 years agoWe had a great time but this place used to be alot nicer. It is a little run down now but waterfalls were up and running when I was there. I really like playing at night but you need some more lights on the holes up by the trees, it's pretty dark up there.

5 months agoI love Pirates Cove mini golf. I convinced my friends to go to this one because every location they have that I've visited in the past have been top notch and the best in the area. Sadly, this one is really lacking, from the street sign missing, all the speakers off so no pirate music while you play. Every hole that should have running water was broken. Paint peeling everywhere, light fixtures were broken, and only one pirate figure at entrance missing his hook. It's gives of a kind of sad vibe of what it used to be, or should be. Multiple hole tubes were broken, either were blocked, or balls wouldn't come out. If this was a mom and pop shop I wouldn't complain, but I hold pirates golf to a higher standard. Judging from pictures I've seen posted online, it's been a long time since the lagoon has been full, working, and fresh paint laid down throughout the facility. I'd visit again, but might look around at other options first next time..

3 years agoPirates cove was not in the best shape. Many of the holes were patched with black tape and a lot of the water attractions were not working or dried up. There was some caution tape on another hole (see photo). The staff was very friendly but it's too bad the place is not kept up. It's located near Weirs Beach and there's another Pirates Cove down the street. I'd recommend going to that one instead.

3 years agoThis place is in need of a lot of repair. Most of the course are held together with black duct tape. Safety railings are falling out of the ground. One of the holes is made of the black duct tape and another had a rip in the course so they put a barrel over the rip to hide it. Another hole had a wasp nest on it. They sprayed it but didn't warn anyone of it. Three water falls where broken and had stagnant what and beer cans in it. Clubs where sticky to touch. Pirate ship was missing and had caution tape put up. The appearance is lacking with what looks like a dump in the parking lot. The maintenance is lacking and the safety of the customers.
