The Sandwich Notch is a hidden gem in Sandwich that features hiking trails, ample rock climbing/bouldering opportunities, and features a waterfall - Beede falls, with plenty of area to swim. Dogs are allows to use the area.
Intervale, White Mountains 03845
Cracks abound in this section and there is something for everyone from Childs Play 5.5 to The Possesses 5.11d and almost every grade between. Drive down the road at the base of the cliff until just before the orange gate. Park here.
Conway, White Mountains 03818
From the Conway area, drive west on the Kanc about 6 miles until you see a sign for the Covered Bridge Campground on your right, and turn in. Drive straight across the bridge. Straight ahead but park to the right in the lot.
Intervale, White Mountains 03845
There is a trail marked at the road near where the porter potties normally reside. Follow this as it twists through the woods and eventually heads up hill past boulders. You will have Fun House right in front of you as you get to the cliff.
Rumney, Lakes 03266
From the Black Jack Boulders hike the main trail west out of the boulders and go to the Northwest Territories. About halfway to the NW Territories look for a cairn beside the trail and a large boulder to your right about 100ft. Hard to see w/ leaves
Conway, White Mountains 03818
Once the initial hiking approach has been completed, thrash about in the bushes to find the sub-area and climb of interest. This may vary from just a hundred feet of relatively easy bush for the "100 ft slab", to several hundred feet of sterner stuff
