This is a nice place to dine at and stay the night. No fancy amenities, but the room was clean and cozy, the staff was very friendly, and the prices were very cheap. As for the restaurant, I ordered the pan roasted statler chicken and it tasted excellent. The chicken was very tender and cooked in a very juicy sauce. Various vegetables were also mixed in on the plate. There was also live music and a nice upbeat atmosphere. If you’re looking for a simple, cozy inn to stay the night and have a good bite to eat, then this is a good place for you.

Absolutely loved the food and the feel of the restaurant. All kinds of neat historic old photos on the wall showcasing outdoor activities of the season along with some old gear. Menu was simple at just one page front and back but had a nice variety of tastes and prices. Extensive drink menu. Dessert was awesome apple pie with a $1.50 up charge to make it a la mode with giant scoop of vanilla ice cream next to an already large squirt of cream.

Delicious lunch, great service & good prices! Highly recommended this Tavern now that there's a new chef & staff since last time we ate a bad meal here in Sept-2019. Kudos to the F&B team working here now - you should be proud of the great service you're providing! πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘

Made reservations for dinner in the dining room but arrived early on a beautiful evening. The host was great and moved us to a table in the garden where we had a perfect evening listening to music while we ate a superb meal. The staff was great all around and you could not beat the ambiance.

What can I say, this restaurant is bursting with charm and fresh creativity. The food always hits the spot and the staff are delightful. If you are looking for something more authentic with a great atmosphere go to the Wildcat.
