Willand Pond Trail

Dover Seacoast

Willand Pond Park is located along the northern side of the pond, beginning in Dover and ending in Somersworth. The park utilizes a number of easements to continue the trail over properties not owned by either Somersworth or Dover. Access is available from Route 108 in Dover or from High Street, behind Riverside Garage in Somersworth. In addition to the trail system there are also fitness stations located along the trail, a low elements rope course with 6 features, and a picnic area with tables and benches overlooking the pond. There’s signage located throughout the park. The trail network was developed with the original Somersworth-Dover NH State grant.

Awesome, well marked trail! The dogs had a blast, and as you can see from the last picture, were tuckered right out! Very easy to navigate and not a lot of incline. We walked 1/2 mile in and then turned around, but would definitely like to explore the remainder of the trail at some point!

This is a rustic park with a pond for fishing and non-motorized boating. There is a level trail that circles the pond; it is well kept and has a couple benches. Lots of people walk their dogs.

Laid back trail with lots of boardwalks for the swampy areas. I'd recommend walking your dogs on leash. This is a popular walking around with kids and older people. Lots of public exercise stations like chin up bars, etc. Walking counter clockwise from Stafford farms, in. 86 mile the path terminates at market basket entry point. I'm docking a star since you cannot fully walk around the pond due to private property development.
