Product Description
The Morneau family began maple sugaring in 1988 in northern NH. In 2005 the operation moved to Grantham NH and the tradition continued with the start of Daisy Hill Farm. Although some efficiencies have been added along the way, part of this passion has been to remain traditional so we only use wood to boil our syrup. In the beginning, we made only enough syrup to be enjoyed by family and friends but now have increased production to sell locally. Our sugarhouse and maple products have been state inspected and are part of the New Hampshire Seal of Quality program. The timing of sugar season can vary from year to year but the boiling of sap occurs usually through March into the first week of April. Anyone is welcome to join us for boiling but please call beforehand to ensure we have sap to boil. Our Maple syrup and confections can be enjoyed year-round through purchase at our home.
