Description
Up and to the right of the Darth Vadar Crag, there is another small cliff with a remarkable variety for its size. no 2 routes of the same grade. This and the shade of tall trees makes this a popular area for beginners and groups of climbers of different levels of ability. Routes range from vertical 5.4 to steep 5.11, and all of them are worth doing though none are truly classic.
This used to be a place to escape the crowds of the Meadows and 5.8 Crag, but the secret got out and it can be quite crowded on a busy day.
The rock quality on many of the moderate routes is not classic Rumney schist, you will find it smoother and easier on the hands.
Enjoy.
Getting There
At the Darth Vadar junction, take a right toward Bonsai and a quick left following the trail as it bends around above Darth Vadar proper. The trail drops you right in the center of the crag. The harder climbs are to your left, easier on right.
