Drive up Bear Notch about 3 miles from the Kanc to a bermed logging road on the left and a small paved pull-out just beyond.Hike up the road crossing a stream to a clearing (20 minutes) Main crag to th right-clear cut in front of you.

You can approach Carter Ledge 2 different ways. Both ways involve a 2+ mile hike. Start at the Piper Trail in Albany and hike 1.2 miles to the Nickerson Ledge Trail on the right. Follow the Nickerson Ledge Trail to its Junction with the Carter Ledge.

This small cluster of boulders is sitting between North Marsh and the road. Drive down to Round Pond on Reservation Rd and you'll see them on the left. Park, walk back about 3 minutes, skip into the woods, and you're there.
Rumney, Lakes 03266
Follow the blue flagged "short Cut Trail" that breaks left from the trail up to Armed and Dangerous. Takes you above the 5.8 crag.

There is a trail marked at the road near where the porter potties normally reside. Follow this as it twists through the woods and eventually heads up hill past boulders. You will have Fun House right in front of you as you get to the cliff.
